WINEMAKER’S NOTES A cooler vintage, and one of my favourite recently for Pinot Noir. The vineyard gave us a lower yield, and translated to more dry extract and aroma (not always the case). We treated this Pinot a little more seriously, and put it in 1 and 2-year-old Moldovan and French oak for 10 months, bottling right away to preserve the aromas. I like this Pinot.

SOMMELIER’S NOTES This is a Pinot Lover’s Pinot. The nose is developing and slightly lifted showing raspberry, red cherry, roasted beet and dry rose petal. The palate is dry, with mostly fruit tannins showing cherry, raspberry, cola, sassafras and sage. This is a complex Pinot and should be taken seriously. Have with pan seared duck breast and roasted root veg. Avoid fruit in the duck sauce, if any
