WINEMAKER'S NOTES We only make The Biggest Red in the best vintages, and this is our 4th example since 2012. The production was about 60% volume compared to the 2017. Each variety was harvested separately over multiple picking days, and then dried on average for 12 weeks then all was combined in tank for carbonic maceration. The grapes were co-fermented then aged together and spent 30 months in new 225L Moldovan Oak Barrels. 

SOMMELIER'S NOTES This is the ripest, smoothest, and most generous example of The Biggest Red. Ripe black, blue, and red fruit, smoky vanilla, toasted cedar, and pipe tobacco. The tannins are smooth and well-integrated. The body is supple and the acidity balances and carries the flavour all the way to the end. This is a serious wine. I would have this on its own.
